World Science Festival Brisbane 2024

On 23 March 2024, UNSW SMaRT Centre Director, Professor Veena, will speak as part of the World Science Festival’s Conversation Series.

She will be part of the Dream On: The Waste and Climate War seminar, an unmissable event in World Science Festival’s Conversation Series which will see planet advocate and environmental provocateur, Craig Reucassel plunge into Australia’s waste and climate crisis.

Veena will also share her vision for a sustainable future, highlight the importance of creating a circular economy and how using waste as a resource - including various UNSW SMaRT Centre innovations - must be at the centre of future manufacturing needs.
