On 4 March 2022, Veena will deliver the first of a three-part series on 'waste to value' for the Victorian local government professionals association, LGPro.
She will be highlighting how and why waste is a resource, demonstrating some of the UNSW SMaRT Centre innovations that can transform a variety of wastes into valuable new products and feedstock for manufacturing.
Joined by SMaRT Centre researcher Dr Rumana Hossain, Veena will lead a discussion for the first webinar focusing on turning waste into value, from big picture sustainability through to the technical playbook on recycling materials that can be used in council infrastructure.
