On 5 March, Veena joined a range of leading speakers at the Social Good Summit Australia 2022 talking about circular economy concepts including how to use waste as a resource.

She spoke about the need to create the value chains needed for a sustainable future, including some of the UNSW SMaRT Centre's 'waste to product' technologies and innovations that uniquely align manufacturing, recycling and waste management.
