UNSW SMaRT Centre Director Prof Veena was interviewed by ABC News TV about Australia's new plastic waste collection and recycling scheme being trialled in Melbourne.
The ABC said:
"After the collapse of Australia’s largest soft plastic recycling program REDcycle in late 2022, a new scheme is emerging.
"The trial is underway in 12 Melbourne supermarkets to provide customers with an in-store option for recycling “scrunchable” food packaging."
